Q: Do you do all of the work yourself on “Rate My Space”?
A: Just like in the real world of construction it takes a team of skilled tradesmen to pull off a renovation. I have one of the best teams out there! If you would like to get to know them check out the “meet the carpenters” link.
Q: Are you and Actor or a real carpenter?
A: I have some on camera experience but I can assure you that I’m a real carpenter. I have many happy customers all over the Los Angeles area that that will attest the fact I don’t just wear the tool belt on the TV show!
Q: Is it more difficult to do a renovation on a TV show?
A: Yes! We face a lot of challenges when combining construction with TV production. While our talented host Angelo is talking with the homeowners all work must stop so they can get clean audio. We already have a tight schedule so we need every minute we can get. The team works their butts off and we somehow pull it off every time! As challenging as it is, it’s worth all the hard work to see the look on our homeowner’s faces when they get their new space!
Q: Do you really answer your own emails?
A: Yes, I personally answer every email.
Q: Can I buy your furniture?
A: Yes, I will be at the Pasadena Rose Bowl with a tent full of pieces and a made to order catalogue. They have a flea market the second Sunday of each month. Make sure to check the “hang out” link for dates I’ll be there.
