Water is the enemy!

There is almost nothing on a house water can’t destroy.

1. Make sure there are no sprinklers that are hitting the house

2. Make sure there are no puddles forming at the base of the house after a rain, if there is you have a grade problem and should call in a contractor to fix it if your not sure how to DIY.

3. Common sense. Don’t spray down your car or your dogs or whatever in an area that gets the house soaked. Remember its designed to keep water out that falls from the sky and water forced up at a house from a hose can easily sneak in where it’s not suppose to be. Fixes can be as easy as extending the downspout from your gutters further away from the house, or turning a sprinkler head a few degrees. Do it now and it will save thousands down the road.
